I get so jealous of all the free wood some of you guys get. Nice haul for sure. I’m at $1400 for an 8 cord load in my area currently.
@KNLFirewood4 ай бұрын
Hey Willy! Nothin's free. Equipment, fuel, time away from making firewood, or family. There's a cost to everything. We're a little jealous around here because we can't get log loads. Different industry and topography I guess??
@WilleysFirewood4 ай бұрын
@@KNLFirewood for sure it is. I’m getting excited to get back in the woods with the skidder to help lower my log cost some.

Hi Mike! Good scores on the logs and I hope the neighbor appreciates your brush grapple work. Also: My experience with fires directly on concrete have been very bad. It takes a while for the concrete to heat up but there is a point where it explodes and chunks fly…..like throwing an aerosol can in the fire but worse. That was my experience anyway, maybe I had terrible concrete. I just know I do not want to do it again. Those Wolfe Ridge rings sure look nice. 👍

Hi my friend. That grapple looks like it’s working out well. Tractor handles it too. I’m still trying to figure out what to do with my skid loader. Just can’t justify replacement. Used equipment is so much money. We will figure it out. Nice fire ring, picked one up at the Wolfe Ridge show in June. They are totally incredible. We burn 3-4 times a week since June 22 and have never had to remove ash yet. There is very little ash to speak of. I sure like your tractor. Yanmar pretty much made that tractor right? Later

Hi Mike, that stinger grapple seems to be pretty nice . I have a TYM Tractor 48 hp how do you think that would work on that one? I’m in the market for a decent grapple. I don’t have one now thank you for your opinion.
@KNLFirewood4 ай бұрын
Hello! My tractor is a 40 hp. The grapple is rated for up to 50 hp. If you have a 48, that should be perfect. It's very heavy duty but not overly heavy (in weight). If you're in the market for a clam shell type, this one is awesome. The twin 3000 psi grapple cylinders is where it's at! If you get one, tell them you saw it on my channel. That would mean a lot to them.
