yes. this is just a confusing marketing trick to get you to commit to another cruise, possibly 2.

That is true, I could never figure out their NCL breakdowns 😆

They tricked me into an un refundable deposit with cruisefirst. Told me on the phone it was totally refundable on the phone and then told me it was un refundable and has no cash value. I am so pissed. And makes me NEVER want to sail with them. This is how they stay in business when they make no money on the actual cruise and three years of covid.

I'm sorry that happened to you. You do have 3 yrs to use it and they are also transferable. Try joining the Facebook group, "Buy & Sell your NCL Cruise Next Certificates in a safe environment 🛳⚓" maybe someone can buy it from you.
