Free motion Christmas tree draught excluder tutorial by Debbie Shore

Such an easy project and a perfect Christmas present! I've used an old towel for stuffing as it makes the excluder quite weighty, and of course use any fabric you like. Try baubles instead of trees, or just random shapes would make this an all year round project.

Once more you saved the day!! I made the draft stopper but couldn't fill it because poly-fill was too light and everything else (pellets, walnut shells, etc.) was too expensive since you need so much of it. So, here I am in the middle of winter, with drafty doors and tons of old towels in the house (which I usually keep for my pets). I'm so excited to go finish this project now. Thank you again. 😘

Thanks for such a fun project!! I have some old flannel PJ bottoms that I could not throw away that will be perfect for this project!!! I am not going to fuss with a zipper even if you did make it look so easy. will probably just hem the sides and draw a ribbon or string to gather the ends. Oh that just gave me an idea to make one that looks like a wrapped candy.
