at 51:02 when we talk about prednisone and Addison's disease. It is taught that they avoid stress because they cannot handle stress so wouldn't they want to avoid physical activity on Addison's disease?

Thank you so much for uploading on KZbin! Sometimes I can’t make it to the zoom sessions and this makes me so grateful. I’m taking my exam in February so I thank you 🙏

I have taken the exam 2 times now and they tend to ask pharm questions without all the descriptions. For example one question here said “when administering haloperidol, a first-generation antipsychotic” on the boards i was asked “when administering haloperidol, the nurse knows to educate about what” or something along those lines. So for me my test anxiety freaks out when i get a medication ive never seen before. I was asked about indomethacin and i have never seen that mediation before. After my exam, I looked it up and it was an NSAID. I know the mechanisms of NSAIDs just didn’t recognize the medication. This has been the hardest part for me and i do not know of a way to combat that stress? I know the content, but i will not know 100% of the medications. Long comment, but ive been watching these videos over and over the last 4 weeks and i test in 2. Just really hoping for pass, i changed my study habits, my testing location, and added some anxiety/ADHD meds. Hope this all makes the difference i need.

Dr. Z, I’ll be graduating nursing program in May 2024 and I’m planning to work with you when preparing for nclex. I’d like to ask when is the right time to start studying for nclex?

As soon as possible! Start slow (so you can keep up with your studies). That way once you get to graduation and real study time, it won't be as overwhelming!
