If ERROR 2002 (HY000): Can't connect to local MySQL server, use this command : sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade . Now install anything like this: sudo apt-get install mysql-server

Error cause for password doesn't match. Try again.If doesn't work. Delete Ubuntu and Follow video instruction step by step.

@@ITlearnbd you have to create a new database for example zabbixDb. grant all privileges on zabbixDb.* to zabbix@localhost identified by 'your_zabbix_mysql_password'; flush privileges; exit you change in the /etc/zabbix/zabbix_server.conf file DbName =zabbixDb, DbPassword = zabbix, DbUser= zabbix zcat /usr/share/doc/zabbix-server-mysql*/create.sql.gz | mysql -uzabbix -p zabbixDb you waiting for execution of command. как по мне так хрень, во первых для мониторинга винды лучше заббикс агент использовать, во вторых зачем ее вообще мониторить? если сервер то у серверов есть ILOM через него и мониторить, если декстоп то больно муторно и ненужно. А вообще проще Cacti поставить и ресурсов меньше и проще.
