It's such a simple engine, how did you manage to explain the principles of its work for so long?)))

The idea is very cool. However, the exhaust outlet opening would have to be higher than the mixture intake opening, then the exhaust outlet would automatically suck in the mixture because a negative pressure would be created in the combustion chamber (of course, using a properly shaped exhaust). Such solutions are in modeling internal combustion engines. Regards

Sir your knowledge is excellent and your teaching skill is also good. But I think there is no need to repeat the things, as we can rewind the video and get solution if we can not understand something, it makes more time to invest and it is not good for students.

+BHAVYA GANDHI thanks for your suggestion but most of the students like it. I just want to keep the entire story running in mind throughout the lecture.

the bounce cylinder is a problem, because it will act as a heat pump. As the piston compresses the bounce cylinder, it will increase the temperature of the compressed gas, leading to an energy transfer from the hot gas to the cold cylinder walls *at the end of the cylinder*. When the piston decompresses the bounce cylinder, the gas will cool due to this decompression, and *absorb heat from the long side of the cylinder, cooling it off*. The process repeats. This is a great inefficiency. I can't think of a solution but you should investigate this.

in the inlet port you can make something like this " T " to spread the air and fuel mixture in the cylinder △

good presentation video, really gained a lot of information from your video. The only con in this video is that the content is repeated many times and also there is no advantages and disadvantages of the engine as well its application. So please try to make concise videos as we have lack of time with youtube study :P

+Raja Agrawal ( PGI15ME301) actually repeatation is 'mnemonic' many students like this. Secodly uses and other connected can be found and understood by other sources . I have found difficulty by students to understand the concept.

how will only exhaust smoke will come out from the exhaust port? As there is inlet of charged fuel simultaneously at the same time, will some of the charged particles also move out with exhaust?

So its a piston turning a turbo that doesnt even create tq from the expanding gas. How is the gas supposed to turn the turbine when at its least pressure? This is a dumb design. Let me guess. Its just theoretical?

Seen a free piston engine with exhaust gas driving a gas turbine on a small ship in 1960.

It works the same way as a turbine in a ordinary 4 stroke engine. Yes, it is as efficient as any 2 stroke engine, which is bad. And it is also possible to take out some energy by putting a magnet on the shaft between the pistons. And then have a spool of wires around it. Then you can get out AC from the spool as the magnet passes in the spool. You get a linear generator.

A 2 stroke engine has a crankshaft. It does not have a camshaft which is what controls the valves. Don't listen to someone who doesn't know the difference between two fundamental parts of an engine

I got mad after listening to this video. Why making this so complicated yar? Such a simple concept has been given complicated explanation and that too saying the same thing thousand times.🤣
