It's orth knowing that the free version does not contain the UAD2 part of the plugin, i.e. it cannot be used in a Unison slot and use UAD DSP hardware units.

Studio One with 5 tracks no plugins 7% CPU Studio One with 5 tracks and 5 instances of Century Tube Channel Strip 10% CPU Based on Studio One performance monitor. Task Manager shows even less I have an i9 13980HX
