Just in case anyone is worried about the chicken eating the papaya seeds (that orange fruit that was being sliced up to feed to the chicken,) papaya seeds are not toxic to any animal and have been used a medicines for hundreds of years in Asia. They actually have anti-amoebic and Anti-parasitic properties. Actually, where I live the leaves of the tree are even used to make a juice that is taken as medicine for people suffering from Dengue fever. It helps to build the blood cell counts back up.

I remember my grandmother when she was alive making me a juice from the leaves of the papaya when I got dengue for the second time. It was really bitter but I guess it worked in our favor and helped me feel better :)

@@thebookishcate I have many friends who all got dengue fever during the first (and only) wave of the virus in our country (Singapore.) This was because pest control companies weren’t allowed to go into private residences and building sites for fear of spreading the virus. We got it under control and never got a second wave. Cases have stayed in the double digits and has remained under control and now they are distributing the vaccine to all citizens free of charge. However, because of the lack of pest control and the fact that monsoon hit late that year, our dengue cases exploded! Because I am a member of a community garden where lots of members grow papaya trees, I managed to get lots of donations of papaya leaves and offered them to friends who were interested to try them. Those that took the drink may not have enjoyed it, but they did recover faster and feel better before those that didn’t.

Hi Dexter, great video. Good tips on poultry care. My ducks are living their new custom ultimate duck house. My chickens though have to wait until next May (spring time in Ontario, Canada) for me to build their new state of the art coop and run. For now they live in my barn. Please expand your goat raising project. Goat meat is P400-450 /kilo in NCR. Increasing supply is the only way to lower price and poor people will be able to enjoy goat meat. DA gives support (loans, subsidies, training, marketing, etc) raisers like you.

I had a family of great blue herons make a nest. They were eating 4 big goldfish at a time. I was not trying to breed the Goldfish but I had ten little goldfish I didn't pay more than a few cents a piece. I put them in my swimming pool then they had babies and both babies had babies and they got really big and healthy and when I got rid of them there was probably 50 after the Herons ate. Now I have a small pool and I use their fish water in my garden

Why do you cut the grass and bring it to the chickens instead of letting the chickens go out and eat it there? Grass when cut, loses its nutrients immediately with every minute, more so if they are hot. After they are shredded and piled together, it becomes very warm in the middle. That destroys even more nutrients.
