Someone with an open mind please answer this without defaulting to an "authority" argument. Is it safe to choose TLS encription OFF and then use Let's Encrypt on the original server? That way there would be no cleartext data access by any third party (notably Cloudflare, yes it is documented) and traffic is truly end to end encrypted between client and server as it should be. So, why not do that instead?

omg why dont u use flexible ? why do u need encryption between cloudflare and your server, why tls overhead ?

Whenever I try to install certificate on the server, I get "Certificate and common name don't match" error. I can only use "flexible" SSL option for now. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

@@darknights5020 I posted a reddit thread about it, I was told that it's most likely my web host provider that has issues accepting Let's Encrypt certificates for whatever reason, and that my best bet is to contact them and ask if they can install it for me from their end. I didn't bother contacting them yet, I just left it as it is for now.
