I had to quit HI3 because I ran out of storage (though I briefly redownloaded it so I could play around Jedi Master Griseo). But ever since they released the game on Mac too, I can finally do play the game again. (Ik Macs are just terrible for gaming but this is better than having to delete Genshin&SR/redownload every time I want to play)

I still can't get into the story of Genshin. I almost did - I played fully through Shenhe's story arc and really liked it but the next place I remember going to was Chasm. I've played about 3 weeks out of the 8 months since then. All that said I did pull Scara last night so unless his mobility is locked behind constellations, and I wouldn't put it past the GI devs to do that, I now have some motivation to play a little more often.

We get some resurgences every now and again but retaining people has be a struggle. The jank at the start is not helping and for all the overhauls HoYo have yet to actually clean up early story and make is 1. make sense and 2. be easier to parse. The number of people I've watched start and be completely lost by the time they finish Ch.3 ... maybe ch.5 if they're lucky and very attentive... smh. I remember some kind of gacha income list from September of last year - the patch when Sirin (free) dropped with her full set of craftable gacha. HI3rd GLB made less than half a million that month according to the list. Any other game is looking at the power plug at that point. Especially since the same month HSR made 50 mil.

The free ten pull in Hsr was from the anniversary. Also at this point, with the amount of five stars they are releasing, the amount of five stars has gone over the amount of four stars, and they just keep adding more, meaning the rewards are just to compensate for the amount of five stars and horrible meta that only has two good four stars.

The thing is ... I can get 8-10 pulls per week on about 4-5 hours of play in Honkai Impact 3rd. I can spend the rest of my free time either on the story or other games or literally anything else. Yes this includes the Paladin BP and monthly card. Those are THE deal if you want to spend but not break your wallet.

Even if the valks are off meta they will carry you at early game like I got carried by SEELE a (A) rank valk and you have a chance to get better valks or supports in the aesterite shop or war treasury AND they give alot of starter bonuses even if they're completely useless they'll help you through early game and that's all you need you can grind for other valks after and get better at the game it's mostly for new players and even if your in endgame you can use the frags to rank up or get stardust we get either 1-2 supply or equpitment cards and 600 xtals every patch and 50% off on the first pull (1400) xtals even the p2 stigs are farmable. You can also get a S rank by buying bp they're equipment is also available on the bp shop

​@@qwerty1785-nv5nl afaik HoO needs full trio, HoFin - Hotr - HoO, everyone 4/4. That's giga expensive to build now, not worth it since new part 2 trio is much cheaper. You can use HoO as img lightning DPS, but she is not very strong (luna/sena is much better choice for lightning dps). Hoyo did part 1 trio dirty.
