I just realized this week how much Howards impacted my career. Currently going into 7th grade, the varsity high school coach, who has brought our district to multiple state champs, has invited me to high school practices. Imagine me, 5'2 with all these big players, experienced and everything. And when he asked where i learned all these moves i kinda hesitated but you really helped man, keep it up dude, youre doin' great. aye ball on fellas

Nathan Lopez I am a lock down defender, and if you can create space or get enough contact to drove to the basket and draw a foul. Or both by driving then using a step back and create some space

@Alxixhieheroep7 жыл бұрын
Mikey Iorio sometimes if you are the ball handler go through and watch for pass, if you have wide open lane attack it or just fake the pick and go for the layup or pullup
@mikeyiorio18807 жыл бұрын
Rob Cassese yea that's what I meant, increased chance to score, but Im just not sure what to do when the big man defender runs up to cut me off when I call for the screen, sorry if I didn't explain that right.

I like learning from you and I'm always going to watch your KZbin channel. By the way I just wanted to tell everyone out here that you should always make free throws you should be 86% or higher because it's the only free thing you're going to have in life it even has the word free in the name for really practice on this.

Can you make a video on how to drive on a perimeter defender? I like to drive to the paint and whenever I start getting hot the other teams coach switches their sf to guard me and they're a lot taller I'm 5'6 and they be around 6'4 and they bump etc to stop me from driving and pick and roll don't work because they drop back and i can't shoot my 3s amazingly. Any tips? I just start to take it baseline and pass it back to the corner but I'm the premier scorer on the team and everyone else can't shoot that good so is their a way to get an open mid range or to drive into the paint
@wordup8907 жыл бұрын
bro watch his how to create space over taller defenders video, unguardable move videos and laying up over taller defenders videos
@tyro74287 жыл бұрын
wordup I've watched those it doesn't work that much against athletic taller players it's good for other defenders tho but the more athletic plays aren't going to let me do that on them
@wordup8907 жыл бұрын
honestly all i can tell you is improve your game learn how to read the defenders like pump faking , step backs , call for a screen or blow past them with some dribble moves and make sure your actually going somewhere with it
@tyro74287 жыл бұрын
wordup thanks for the advice I've been doing those things but there is just a few players in my district that are very athletic and are amazing defenders so it's pretty much westbrook vs khawi
@wordup8907 жыл бұрын
Tyro™ yeah man i feel you on that im 5”8 and some people are pretty much blessed with height and natural athleticism so you gotta get real crafty with the scoring when you facing them

JAI JAI practice inside shots with form that works for you. HEB has videos on good form. Once you practice midrange and close shots you will be able to extend your range. If you are a young player the strength will come after a while.
