the last SR in the box was in the very last pack. i really wanted to build galaxy eyes, but man, i had to open up exactly 100 packs before i could reset the box, which was really upsetting for me! so far i'm running substitute cards for this deck. Photon Chargeman is a great one for me, and i picked up a Orbital 7, from a 2 card pack, so thought i'd try him out in the deck! i don't have 2 galaxy eyes, so i'm using the skill: A cosmic Scourge: Galaxy-Eyes

You can also play polymerization and twin photon lizard. TPL can tribute itself to special summon the two fusion materials. So that's 2 monsters, also TPL is not really good for offense so trading it for an xyz to special summon Galaxy eyes is more than worth

Dont go on galaxy,it is not good if u are new,also dont build any meta deck since there is a kc cup and after kc cup there will be banlist(which will probably hit meta deck,and some burn or ftk cards of any ftk or burn deck is good rn).Go for f2p deck like digital bugs,superheavy samurais, deskbot or something else that is f2p and really good.

I'm sure some SR cards in the mini boxes are "short printed" meaning that Lizard and Vanisher usually come at the last packs. It happens way too often to not assume there is something going on. It happened with shiranui as well when I was trying to pull them. All 3 of my Squire and Solitaire came at the last 20 packs each time. Vanisher and Lizard came literally at 15 last packs. Same with the mayakashi supers. Idk what's up but komoney is definitely gimping us.

I personally spend 7.5K gems to farm the entire deck, which is I skip most of the xyz and onomat support on the first box and grind almost everything in the second one. To become a F2P player means u need to let go half of ur desire to get what u love the most. Don't be greedy. U don't need many decks, u just need a single good deck.

Konami purposely avoids releasing full res pics of their cards. I recommend you Google the card you wantwith deviantart after it. For example "Galaxy-eyes photon Dragon DeviantArt" You won't find every yugioh card high res because they are all fan made, but you will at least find many of the popular cards.

Cosmic is always good coz you can also get rid of face up spell/traps, but with galaxy eyes deck galaxy cyclone is nice coz is searchable via skill

As a D/D/D player I still have hope for some XYZs. At the very least I’m banking on high king Genghis to be added. I’m also surprised that Konami hasn’t shown any red eyes players some love by adding flare metal dragon or red eyes alternative. Instead, they add darkness dragon 4 years too late for it to have any meta relevance. I guess Konami hating Red Eyes is par for the course though.

There is quite a few Red-eyes cards that cause burn damage which highly frowned upon by Konami is this format. I suppose they can nerf it to a manageable amount so that it's not too terrible to deal with. I'd definitely would love more red-eyes support so I'm gonna pray and hope that time comes soon. Joey needs a buff in skills too.

Idk about you but 10k gems is ALOT when you have fully levelled up most characters & have done all the quizzes. I know ppl will say "Oh but that's nothing compared to cost of Blackwings, Darklord, etc." - Yes that's true but look at where they stand now in the meta. I have spent all my gems on these decks and now with XYZ era people like me are tapped out, and eventually this will happen to people who are relatively new to Duel Links and have plenty of gems for the moment, when the meta shifts beyond XYZ and decks like Noble Knights won't be tiered anymore 'cause of nerfs or powercreep. I don't have any regrets for spending gems the way I did but I wish Konami would provide us veterans with some form of 'pension' for playing so long and supporting their game

i think people need to stop focusing on tier decks and try to focus on the decks that are not but can still be played because they can be cheap to build. To be honest the good thing about a older player is that we have all of our staples. But i do think they do need to up the amount of gems they give us.

Same, the boxes hate me, the character duels at 40 hate me, auto duel hates me, and my opening hand just DESPISES me, i get bricks that are near impossible like every 2 - 6 duels, but it doesn’t bother me, i’ve found ways around it, I believe Duel links has a strong and when i say strong i mean that they have a STRONG bias in their probability system, i’ve put cards as one ofs in 30 card decks and still open with them every 2 duels at least.

I wanted to do that too, but looking at the cards that Will come out in the future as Photon support Just let me think It Will be a waste of gems on third lizard and vaporizer. Just my opinion

Polymerization is pretty much a special summon two from hand for the deck with the fusion monster. Without 3 advancer I don't know if you would want to invest in the deck tho
