That was so sad. Such a great loss of lives and talent. I remember this when I was a child. Also watched La Bamba where this tragedy was also portrayed. RIP guys you really where great.

There were some people who were understandably unhappy about the inaccuracies in this movie after it came out. It's a real shame it wasn't done in a more accurate way and it was wrong of the filmmakers to do that but on the other hand this is a pretty good film and Gary Busey does a really great job as Buddy Holly.
