good evening po sir. based sa number one question po sir parang mali po eh. Tapos nag search ako kung same ba answer mo sa online. 23 po sagot nila instead of 24. eto po yung solvong nila sir, hindi po to sakin galing. hehe Let Cora's age be 𝑥 and Danilo's age be 2(𝑥−4) since Danilo is twice Cora's age 4 years ago Three years from now, Cora's age will be x+3 and Danilo's age will be 2(x−4)+3 . 3Set up the equation based on the sum of their ages 3 years from now: x+3+2(x−4)+3=47 . Solve the equation to find Cora's current age, x=16 . 5Cora's age 8 years from now will be 16+8=24 .

The expression 2(x - 4) gives Danilo’s age 4 years ago, not his present age. If Cora’s present age is x, then Danilo’s present age should be 2(x - 4) + 4 The new equation would then be x + 3 + 2(x - 4) + 4 + 3 = 47, which gives an answer of x= 15. Adding 8 would give Cora’s future age to be 23.

itranspose mo yung mga like terms for example, pagsamahin mo sa isang side yung mga constant tapos sa kabila yung mga may kasamang variables

Halimbawa, 2x+4=12, since ang 4 and 12 is parehas constant and walang variables (like x/y), ililipat natin yung positive 4 sa kabila or right side. Since positive (+) siya, ang opposite ng positive is negative (-) 4. From 2x+4=12, magiging 2x=12-4, then 2x=8, divide 2 (para makuha value ng "x") x=4.
