Even though we viewers know he beat Ren Wu and all, that isn't much of an accomplishment when no one but you and Red Eye saw it and there are bladers out there with actual records who've come nail bitingly close to beating Big 5 members. Wakiya was able to go toe to toe with Xander during their's team's showdown (and most certainly proved his strength there even though Xander beat him), and Diego managed to so narrowly dual and almost beat Joshua (who at this point in the series is at least Top 3 of the Big 5.) there were better options but Boa and Norman's existence in this tournament was made to be righed
