I’m really glad they’re doing licensed weapons. It’s nice to have “your brand”. Hoping they add Savage, Tiika, and others as we move forward. I’d like to see hog hunts as well. And to be honest, I’d pay for rare guns or calibers. Especially if they’re juiced (low/no sway, more power etc), they can drop “base packs for free” and other stuff for money. I’d pay for it. I want them to have the funds necessary to continue to update and push this game forward

couple fixes i'd like to see, sooner than later. -not falling through the world when fast traveling to vlkovs cabin. -the ability to track more than 1 objective, -the random weapon cocking sound in the swamps north of the starting point that tripps me the fk out, -birds clipping though part of the ground when they fall so they are a bitch to find if at all, -less grainy graphics there are probably a few more i can't think of off the top of my head, but that being said, i really like this game so far and it seems to have potential to become a great game.

Im hoping for a more classical weapon bundle. Maybe some turn off the century weapons Sharps rifle in .45-110 would be sweet some long range open sights kinda thing. And/or something like grandpas got some old war rifles in the back of the safe. German Mosier K98, Russian Mosin Nagant, American 1903a3 springfield and Britain's lee enfield in any variant would be super fun

the only difficult thing with non typs is the fact that most deer might not start out as a NT but might later accumulate enough antler and uniqueness to become a NT. other than that it would be soooo cool. maybe the buck you've had high hopes for randomly turns into the biggest non typ you've seen

A simple non-typical addition would be drop-tines (varrying length and size). It would be so fun chasing after a double drop tine buck (drop tine on each side)! Also "stickers' and "flyers" (short little 1" or more. tines in varying directions).. I'd love full-on complex non-typicals but my above mentioned would probably be the easier thing to add/implement from a developer point of view.

non-typical antlers and broken antlers were in the deer hunter tournament wich was a 2008 game so its only queston of will to make it. First of all some spike antler buck or some bucks with broken antler would be great too :D then with time lets go for the atypical ones

@@davidszucs1775 Oh that's really interesting! I admit in regards to antler variation I hadn't even thought of 'broken tines'! Yah that's a whole new element. Probably a frustrating one haha Personally, IRL I have had bucks with broken tines and have gone (in vain) looking for the broken piece in hopes it broke in the fall and not elsewhere in a fight. Thanks so much for the reply Dávid! :) I'm a longer time IRL hunter but haven't probably played even half of the hunting games out there. I hope hunting game companies can learn from each other rather than being accused of copying each other if a similar element is included. Share ideas and let things like smooth gameplay and graphics be the things that make a game stand-out. :)

Looks great! I would add a motion blur toggle on all platforms too. Another great feature would be a gamma curve tool/screen. Since the game doesn’t have HDR, getting the most out of SDR would be great.

As far as the new weapon types I would like to see a cap lock and modern inline muzzleloader, a few hunting handguns such as a semi auto 10mm pistol and like a single shot T/C pistol and 44 magnum and 460 S&W magnum revolvers as well as a slug gun shotgun with a rifled barrel and a few bows and crossbows

Blood that disappears when you track the animal should be on the very first patch that's game breaking. Support for an ultrawide monitor is not game breaking key bindings I play on PC I want it but again not gain breaking. Not being able to track the animal you shoot is game breaking how is this not top priority.

Will animals move on from an area even if they are not spooked but can sense your presence? I’ve been having a hard time getting good positions because as soon as I get close they seem to always be moving and only feeding for maybe 30 seconds. Is it possible that I’m giving myself away while not actually spooking them? Seems like they are never in one spot for more than 30 seconds

There is an alerted state so maybe? I have seen them resting about 400 yards and and snuck up and around where the wind wouldn't give me away, musta took an hour, they were still really close to that area

The two games are very different, personally I couldn't care less about licensed gear just the performance of the gear. I like both games but to me personally WOTH is a sim and COTW is a game IMO. If I could have one only It would be COTW and not for play-ability just for actual time to achieve something WOTH needs time and patience two things I lack LOL. Thank you for the very informative update and good news. Question: is there a hot key for the map? Getting old hitting escape and using mouse to open map. Also, New England Firearms makes a "Handy rifle". I have 1 receiver/stock and 4 different caliber(type of barrels) 1. .50 cal. muzzleloader 2. .44 mag rifle 3. 20 gauge shotgun 4. .223 rifle It's a good quality gun and all said and prob spent $1100 on everything. Which is cheaper than 4 different guns. Have the bull barrel .223 with a vortex 4x16 and I'm dropping dogs at 250 ..Anyhow thanks again and Rock on 🤘😎

I pre-ordered the Elite Edition which says it comes with a Hunter's Pack and the Season Pass. And I believe the Season Pass says it includes a weapon pack and two map DLC's. So is the Weapon Pack and DLC1/DLC2 listed here what is with the Season Pass or are those coming later? I haven't heard anything about the Season Pass content but I assume some of this stuff is.

I see half people trashing this game and the other half praising this game. All I know is I have 20+ hours in it already. I hardly binge play games anymore. This game is already pretty damn awesome…I can’t imagine how awesome it will be once they fix the bugs and add more features. The fact you can play eugenics with your animals is so damn fascinating and it’s my favorite part of the game. I would love to see a family tree feature in the game. Every time you visit that herd it updates it after scoping them out. If you don’t see it then it shouldn’t update.

The game has good potential but right now, I'd be hesitant to buy or play it. As someone with 50 hours in the game, I've had about 5 animals and their blood trails disappear. Playing on PC, I'd wait till next month to see if the devs have fixed most of the issues including multiplayer is really broken. Player models and animal models are acting really messed up.
