Thanks for your comment, I am so glad you find my tutorial helpful! You could easily skip the s1wyif - and either just slip the stitch or just knit the stitch. The s1wyif is just making for a really nice edge to your shawl. It is a detail - and is fine if you don’t want to bother with it. Hope you are enjoying your project and it comes out great!!

Hello. I'm sorry to ask for help again. But I am a beginner in knitting. How many holes are to be created in Eyelet Row # 1? One or three (one large and two smaller)? Do we drop extra wraps only in triple-yo? Do we also drop extra wraps (one) in yo k2tog? Sorry for my English. This is also the reason why I do not understand the instructions. I will be very grateful for your help!

Happy to help! Eyelet Row # 1 three yarn overs (one large and 2 smaller) just like you said. You really only have extra wraps to drop in the triple yo - the single yo you just knit into and are done. Watch the video from about the 5:00 mark - I hope that helps!! Happy knitting!!
