I am curious about why you did not discuss the amount of actual energy that goes into mining bitcoin? I have heard things about the massive amounts of entry that go into it, and that has to have an environmental impact. Does anyone know the specifics of the energy drain of bitcoin?

Biggest MTL Mark issue that I encourage you to try and solve ...MetalMark Standard is $161.00 for 1g of gold (no subbed discount & no art mark up)... December 5, 2024, the spot price of gold is $85.10 per gram. Instant 47% loss on investment. 20 yer ROR is about 4% annually. Making the break even 11.5 years. Is there a instant loss on Bullion vs spot price? yes. But not to this extreme even if you look 1g for 1g , let alone bulk discount of a simple troy ounce coin or multiple... unless you're buying collector coins which is a toss up with the art design. Good idea but this will be a glaring issue that needs to be fixed.

those bills are not bare metal though. it's a highly refined gold product. similar to how a tortilla costs more than its component of flour, or jewelry costs more than the bare metal.

@@alleyio They themselves in the video want you to feel like you can sell it at spot because you can melt it down for its value because it is gold. In the video they make it sound like you CAN turn the tortilla back into flour. When you still loose a bit bullion to spot, its not as much. I don't think its a bad idea but it will be a major hurdle for attracting serious investors and competing with bullion. Why would I pay 2 tortillas for 1, when I can pay 1.3 Tortillas for 1 Tortilla. Fitting in your wallet is cool, but something like 35% of Americans only carry cash , let alone walk around with gold. So why would large scale investors purchase this with such a high premium? They must recognize this because they are going the art/collectible route at the same time. Again I am not attacking the product, I am skeptical of their pricing strategy. If you are someone looking at it from a economic doomsday point of view, well 1G of gold is going to be 1G of gold, people are not going to care about the technology that forged it. Would you rather buy 1.5G or 1G dollar for dollar with with the lens of bartering it in a unlikely scenario. A upfront 47% premium is not something to scuff at

@@CAMWification because you can turn it back into bare metal if you want, just like you can with jewelry, but you'd be destroying most of the value of it in the process. the value is in the refinement and the new unique thing being done to the gold, not simply in the bare metal itself. also, you need to look up goldbacks. this is a giant established market with enthusiasts and investors alike, already, with bills just like these, at higher premiums.

Because weapons are the reason (if you're American) that you're Government didn't walk all over you in the last four years to nearly the same degree that Governments the world over walked all over their people. One thing Mr. Breedlove will not mention is that BTC is not actually Bitcoin, but a fake copy created in 2017. Bitcoin goes by the ticker "BSV" now and was created importantly as a low cost payment system, particularly for small casual payments and micropayments. It is also fully programmable and scales without limit on chain.
