- Tally's mother didn't get conscripted because four of her sisters died in military service. The Craven line is nearly exhausted and Tally is the last member of it. That's also how she was able to get a exception for Tally, which Tally didn't take. - My favorite moment of the episode was when Tally tells Raelle, "I really like your girlfriend."

I love how everybody getting into Fort Salem has the same stages of reaction towards Scylla 1. She is so pretty but so shady 2. Why are you so shady Scylla? 3. No Scylla no don’t goddamit Scylla 4. I love Scylla so much. Sarcastic Queen 5. If Raylla is not endgame we riot You are are stage two now and I can’t wait to see you go through all of them 😛

When I first watched ep. 1 I loved her already, shady or not -- went straight to stage 5 after the first Raylla interaction. Ugh, the chemistry!!! And I mean, Alder was definitely shady as all hell, Petra too because of Willa's letter, but I didn't like THEM xD

@@petit_wallflower Same! When I started to watch MLFS didn't know anything about it (only what I saw in the trailer, there are witches who are in the army). Even Scylla was shady I was already in love with Raylla.

Read and watch their interviews. Maybe that'll help you understand them. This only happens once in a while where two actresses are both equally invested in their character's love story from the very start. Amalia Holm aka Scylla even said that, "Maybe before I knew how to do Scylla, I knew how to do Scylla in love with Raelle."

As shady as Scylla was to start the season, I couldn't not fall in love with her. The actress Amalia just pulled me right in. I have no idea how she plays Scylla's complexities so well on top of her doing an American accent over her own American accent. Scylla has become one of my favorite characters on tv at the moment. And it's just a cherry on top that her & Raelle's relationship is so integral to the actual plot. What other show is doing this??

Exactly. Agreed!. but what is "doing an American accent over her own American accent"? If she already has an American accent, why does she need to do an American accent? If you know what I mean. Lol

@@smilemee5950 Amalia herself has an accent when speaking English that's different than Scylla's, so she had to correct her own natural American accent, hence doing an American accent over her already American accent. If you still don't understand, listen to Amalia's speaking voice in interviews & you can see it's different than Scylla's. It's pretty impressive.

English accent doesn't say anything about a specific nationality or region or way of where and how English is spoken, but it simply means language whereas American accent is a very specific accent.

Her change of accent is because Amalia is Swedish/Norwegian so she has a Scandinavian accent when she speaks English

based on how Abigail said "so this is necro" I'm sure Raelle told her unit about Scylla , they must be suspicious that Raelle often sneaks out every night to Scylla's room, and in the end Raelle tells about Scylla to her unit. so many time jump in Motherland TV series that we must acknowledge ourself.

I have to clarify something Scylla's face is her face. It's not someone else, the face that we see it's her. And I'm the only one who loved Scylla from the very moment she appear? I love her since day one and i was like PLEASE FALL IN LOVE WITH RAELLE and get a rédemption arc because they are so cute together. in the bed scene i feel scylla was already falling for raelle and at the end when she say "i am getting impatient " i was like no REALLY like you want finish the mission already . Like you want stop sleeping with rae lol look at you in bed with her you didn't want her to go 😁 and now she is like i am impatient to finish the mission. The girl is falling hard for raelle but doesnt seem To notice yet.

Slowly but surely they are starting to find their rhythm together as a unit. Interesting theory regarding Scylla. I think I had a similar impression in my first watch. The Spree definitely make it hard to tell who is really who. Looking forward to you seeing episode 3.

Scylla’s past dictated a lot of her choices, there is a very good reason she joined Spree. Her past is also why she has trouble opening up. And man, she does get feels for Raelle. Being she is undercover there is not much she can say without blowing it. 3,4 and 5 are the last fluff before stuff happens.... I love Scylla because she is complex despite being a “bad guy”. Tally is a bean that needs protection. And Raelle is definitely powerful and does not know what she can actually do.. Tally, Raelle and Abigail do become an effective unit.

The biggest piece of advice I can give you, without giving away any spoilers of course, is just to keep an open mind. Remember that the world is not black and white, and that people's experiences and pasts make them who they are. People are who they are for a reason... and people can also change based on new experiences they go through. This show is so amazing because of how deep and three dimensional every single character is. Trust me.... it just keeps getting better and better :) Also.... You should check out the "After The Storm" episodes after each episode that you watch. They're only 5-7 minutes long, on KZbin, and offer up more information about the episode you just watched and give more insight into their world and why things are the way they are. Worth it for sure.

Scylla's usual physical form when she's with Raelle or at school for example is actually her real physical form, I'm pretty sure

Hey! Greek person here and I must say that every time I hear Scylla's name I die a little because, except the monster, Scylla also means 'bitch' in greek😂. They pronounce it kinda weird though. They say something like 'shyla' when it should be like 'skyla'. But I guess it's good for her since she doesn't get called a bitch every time someone says her name.

The Unit should be able to bond easier as sisters when there are so few in each family left. I mostly don't care about Abigail and Libba's High Atlantic old military family rivalry, but I'll admit there's a point to it. Going back over the start of the season reveals so much foreshadowing for the back half. Next few reactions will be interesting based on the last two.

Male witches do get conscripted. They just don't do the same thing female witches do. The guys who visited for Beltane all wear similar medallions to the one the ladies get on conscription day.

The sounds of this show are disturbing. My favorite is Tally, totally. Scylla and Raelle look pretty together and have nice scenes, but Scylla aff I don't know, although that woman is beautiful.
