- Some insight on what Diggle meant by “Special kind of hero” (Spoilers, btw): The series finale of Arrow, he finds a box and when he opens it…there was a bright green glow. The glow was supposed to be the *Green Lantern Ring* . There have been numerous articles written about how Arrow missed the opportunity to have Diggle become The Green Lantern. That’s what he meant. 😁

I don't read them anymore, but Marvel never shied away from going at potentially difficult subjects head-on.

Jon had a situation similar in season 4 when he talked to Kara the first time about the attacks against aliens (who doesn’t look like a super: white human shape), but Kara was like: pfff, no, I’m an alien and they like me! And Jon was like 👁👄👁
