FreeCad Arch 3D Site Modelling with contours - How to accurately model a site with contours from an existing plan or surveyors jpeg or pdf. Maybe someone with solid programming skills can develop a Macro or workbench to simplify or consolidate the process. The idea to work with a surface or contours is more appealing than a grid surface mesh.

Thanks for the tutorial. Beside this, a doubt: how to make the side menus "floating" above the background of the 3d space and also the eye icon to turn on and turn off specific elements? Best regards

Use GeoData workbench or if data unavailable pretty much the same way as shown in video but using a google earth or maps image with contour filter turned on.
