I just wanted to recommend that, if you do any revisions later on, you replace using "ifconfig" in your example at about 1hr 6mins in and replace it with "ip a". my understanding is that many Linux distros have deprecated the use of "ifconfig" thank you again for your work!

I'm sorry but you are using very specific definitions incorrectly. Example 40:12, you say that you can pipe something when in fact you are redirecting. Those are not the same actions, and for newcomers, this will teach them incorrectly.

To be clear, he kept saying relative path when he meant absolute path. Relative path is *relative* to your current location, and *absolute* path is from it's absolute path. Or from the *root* filesystem.

Yes but one needs to know Linux. Things like how to navigate the file system to use distributions like Kali so for those with no background in Linux it is step 1 to ethical hacking.

Most people and Linux distros use the bash shell so the stuff you learn here are applicable to both Kalu and Ubuntu. Also I believe both Kali and Ubuntu are Debian distribution based which is another commonality they have.

Check the terminal config, it should have the default bindings, or where gnome terminal stores em. On kitty and alacritty and other terminals it's at the $HOME/.config/
