For new Gophers in the future, you don't need to write all your source in a "go" directory in your home directory anymore. That's a legacy construct from when the language and tooling were still being polished and modules didn't exist (don't worry about modules yet if you don't know).

The course was excellent. I appreciate the instructor's approach of not assuming prior knowledge of prerequisites. This is in contrast to many backend courses, which often overlook this important aspect.

As someone who works with PCI compliance, I do not recommend you make your own payment processing form and send that data to be processed. It's much more secure to send the customer to a page on the actual processors site. If you do not, you are liable for any breaches.

@@AGuy-x3d yeah I mean all major companies use it as well to name just a few Google duhh haha Amazon, twitch Spotify Uber Dropbox and I could keep going on. It’s bets for backend as it’s fast and easy to learn. It’s a mix between c++ with its speed and syntax of Python. Backend, micro services, web dev it has many uses but most popular will be backend for performance

Very in-depth! In fact I would argue 90% of the depth was around using IDE's, Terminals, variable types, etc., even getting as granular as talking about request types and how comparators work, which was distracting from the 'Go' part of the tutorial. I felt like I had to retake a bunch of CS courses just to learn the new language which ultimately felt like a very small portion of this tutorial.

Hello Thanks for creating this optimised video for go learners. I didn't understand where did we connect frontend to backend? Ex when we click on any product where in frontend we invoke payment create intent API which later call Stripe API. I get it when you have updated pk id in jsx file but still confuse how our frontend code talks to backend code?

Go does, do you? Do you even understand why and when you would need to apply concurrency? I assure any modern programming language can suit your needs, stop dancing around it and just start building something or you’ll never advance.
