At 16:19, in the repeat until block, the condition used is xposition < -237. And the code inside the return block works till the condition is true. But for the whole time the pipe is coming from right to left, x had value greater than -237. So the condition in the repeat until block is false. Then how does the code in the repeat until block execute?? I tried using x > -237, but it doesn't work. Someone please clarify.

I'm a bit late 😅but I think I can answer your question! The point of the repeat until block is to have the pipes constantly move to the left of the screen, UNTIL they reach the end. Once they reach the end of the screen where x < -237, the "repeat until" block ends which activates the "delete this clone" block. Actually now that I read your comment I don't think that's what you were asking... but I'll leave that there anyways! OKAY here is the actual (?) answer to your question! The repeat until block is waiting for the condition to become TRUE. This is why when the xposition value is greater than -237, the block doesn't activate. ONLY when x is less than -237 will the block stop repeating what it was set to do. This is why using x> -237 doesn't work. Using greater than would end the repeat cycle before it get's to do anything. Hope this helped! (even if it's 3 years late)

I get the "sprite" analogy. But the costumes would be better off being referred to as "objects", in my opinion. The problem I have with many tutorials like this is that the "instructor" tends to talk a little too fast and is hard to keep up with some times.
