Wall woulda shut that comparison shit up , Wall was too big and strong for Kyrie and could guard Kyrie relatively well , not saying he could stop kyrie but if u look at the matchups between them this year specifically , Wall outplayed him 2/3 times , throughout his career he’s always been too much for Kyrie

Lebron would've been too much for Washington to handle. Washington didn't even have anything to stop Kelly Olynyk - he had a great Game 7 in the ECSF, but that matchup was at his advantage the whole series. When WAS and CLE played in the regular season, they battled hard though. The Cavs took that epic OT game the day after the SB (Lebron hit that ridiculous turnaround bank 3, to tie the game at the buzzer), then Wall gave the Cavs the business a few weeks later, in Cleveland.

It was very unfortunate that John Wall went from being a star player to being a role player due to injuries. Still, Wall is one of the best NBA players in Wizards history. He was the leading point guard in the NBA in the 2010s. It is very sad that there are many superstar players in the NBA who have lost their strength and performance in their prime due to injury.

devastating injury + not being a high-efficiency shooter. I think things could've been much better if Washington was able to put together a stable unit that didn't need Wall. During this season, I badly wanted Washington to get Rondo from Chicago, because there was trouble brewing there with Rondo, Butler, Wade, and the Bulls front office. That would've been a huge boost.
