Adolf Hitler maintained a reserved attitude toward Berlin, preferring Munich until he became the leader in 1933. He envisioned transforming Berlin into a grand world capital - with the help of his architect Albert Speer - called "Germania," but few of his ambitious buildings were completed, with many destroyed during WWII. This documentary featuring experts from "Berliner Unterwelten" explores hidden remnants of the Third Reich. Rare archive photographs, originally commissioned by filmmaker Leni Riefenstahl, provide a glimpse into the ambitious and grandiose structures Hitler once dreamed of erecting in Berlin.

@dianaverano78782 ай бұрын
Fascism is dictatorship. It doesnt matter if the dictator is a communist, capitalist etc. Communism is an ideology that encourages the government to control all aspects of society to equalize assets of the nation, anti capitalist, wants people to share the government funds & services. No religion as it makes people not equal. Communism in reality has its disadvantages, as the political leader can use that control against his political rival.
@askani21Ай бұрын
Fascism has the authoritarian goal of overthrowing democracy, destroying public institutions, and violently seizing all power. It exploits fear and hatred, like racism, bigotry and religion, to control the masses through violent supremacy. Fascist leaders have elevated capitalist oligarchs to help them seize more power and crush entire populations. Communism is an ideology of equality among all humans regarding labor and economy. Its goal is to build an utopia where all humans work according to their capabilities, and all receive according to their needs. A perfect communist world has no states, no governments, as all peoples naturally cooperate and help each others for the common good. Fascist governments have all utterly destroyed themselves in a few years. They are inherently doomed to end in a bloodbath. You can't have a stable rule based on murderous bloodlust and a violent anti-institutions sentiment. Communism technically never existed, because all who tried to implement the unrealistic ideology soon fell victim to tyrants who abused the fragile communist systems for personal gain. Today, people often mistake communism for tyranny under an evil dictator. But the communist ideology is incompatible with tyranny. It's the opposite.

Keep in mind the the phrase "the victor tells the story". Most of what we hear about 30's, 40's Germany is from the point of view of the victor aka Britain. So how evil Germany was is exaggerated by the British. Germany wasn't as evil as we are told. And let's remember that during that time the British were occupying India. So Britain is the same as Germany
