The Falkland Islands are biogeographically part of the Antarctic zone, with strong connections to the flora and fauna of Patagonia in mainland South America. The islands are frequented by marine mammals, such as the southern elephant seal and the South American fur seal, and various types of cetaceans; offshore islands house the rare striated caracara. There are also five different penguin species and a few of the largest albatross colonies on the planet. The Falklands are treeless and have a wind-resistant vegetation predominantly composed of a variety of dwarf shrubs. And now, sit back - metaphorically or for real - and enjoy 😊

What a stunning documentary highlighting the diverse wildlife of the Falkland Islands! It's incredible to see so many species, from penguins and seals to orcas and albatross, thriving in this remote paradise. The islands' unique biogeography creates a rich ecosystem that is truly remarkable. Nature's beauty and resilience never fail to amaze me.

Extraordinary documentary about these beautiful species of penguins and others species as seal lions, prey birds, marine birds, orcas, whales. All these creatures make up the rich ecosystem for the Falkland Islands in South America. Thanks for sharing. 🐧🦃🐣🐳

many people are just like animals, no thought of the earth and our place in it, sad but true, but all life deserves respect even animals, even people that are animals. animals are people too, people are animals too

its also possible that there are too many penguins for the ecosystem and that egg collection is done sustainably.
