Hey! It been a while. good to see you are still producing content. I have seen a lot of pictures of the freedom tower but oddly enough i think this is the first time ive ever seen it on film. I was a little surprised you did not do any time lapse shots. Maybe they are cliche. I liked the zooming in and out as a transition. Thats new Keep up the good work.

Great creativity! I'm feeling this mix of ground and aerial shots. Did you grade from scratch or use the M31 or similar LUT? You mavic footage looks much better than mine. Take it you're not having the resolution and noise issues others like myself have had

Thanks for your comment! I used the Osiris_M31 LUT, and retouched each shot to make sure they all matched. Mavic just had a recent update, their D-Log has better dynamic range and I would probably use that when filming. Hmm resolution issue? Not so much. But I do get quite a bit of noise if it's in low light. I used the De:Noiser plugin for the night shots to reduce that.

I actually looked at all your films - Im not really a vlog-guy to be honest - and they were not that good. Nah, nah, nah ! Dont stop readin ! Not finished yet. What was special about the Video, that you shared with MxR was the tone of the video. The music and the video fit together really well, so you get this: That was something special. - feeling. Since here in germany we are all techies, 4k cams, drones and all that really expensive stuff isnt that special anymore. And to be perfectly honest with you: everybody with enough money and freetime can film "quality stuff". They can learn how to fly a drone, how to use the preferred cam and how to edit it ( simple means of light-something (dont know the english terminology) ) But they dont have a feel for it. They dont have a feel for the scenes to record, the overall tone of the video and yeah, the music that comes with it. They cant combine stuff to one... thing... This is the second time, that I had legit goosebumps, while watching one of your videos. Good job.

Great shots. I'm a FAA certified pilot and not sure how you got some of those NYC shots. Did you get airspace permission? Did you call the towers? You can't fly in Central Park. Not trying to be a joy thief but just trying to promote safe flying.

I did not call any air traffic control. Unfortunately it's almost impossible to fly without a lot of planning ahead and getting all the rights to fly in NYC.
