In a spectacle of grandeur and significance, the Sahel Alliance (AES) was officially inaugurated this weekend in Niamey, Niger's bustling capital. The historic event, attended by an array of luminaries, business leaders, executives, and visionary leaders, signified a new dawn for the Sahel region, uniting Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger in a collective quest for peace, prosperity, and regional stability.

It is best for blacks from that part of Africa, the Sahel region. I believe that northern core part of Nigeria will not hesitate to be part of this alliance. However, the middle belt and the entire southern Nigeria has no connection and will never have anything to do with people from the Sahel area. Nevertheless, we wish them all the best.

I m a Liberian living in the USA. I m so proud of these 3 guys. ECOWAS is infiltrated by the West.....it doesn't serve the purpose it was founded for anymore. Reason: ECOWAS formed ECOMOG to thwart Taylor effort from being president only because Taylor is a Panafricanist and had Kaddaffi ties. Through ECOWAS, lots of factions were created. ULIMO K, J, and LPC,. ECOWAS is willing to send troops to battle any regime, which is not Western friendly in the name of 'SO-CALL DEMOCRACY '. So, ECOWAS has to be rebranded to be more Panafrican.
