This really spoke to me. I was trained in media like Katherine, but as the first generation believer in my immediate family, all I really wanted is to be a missionary and have a missionary family for the Lord. After university, I left all for missions training. I was brought home by the Lord after 3 years in the field to minister to unbelieving family and to be a media/communication instructor... Reluctantly and half-heartedly. I really do feel stuck with the question of my true calling. I feel so pressured and overwhelmed and after another 3 years as a part-time instrcutor living life on mission, I really am in the midst of burnout. I am so spent... but this has sparked a glimmer of hope... to really just return to the rest of my simple and supernatural union with Jesus. I can't say much more at this time, but I am in a really, really dark "prison" season. Please pray for me and the people I love (especially parents and grandparents) who do not yet know the Lord... Thank you so much for your ministry, Liz, and to Katherine, as well.

What a word is season for us all, I love her simplicity of ministry, I just got the image of the potter's wheel and God remoulding the marred vessel and remade it into a new vessel as seemed good to Him. The sacrifice... 🙏🏻🙏🏻☁️pondering this element. Can mean, help Lord. I'm willing but do not feel able.. even my desires are lagging behind where I want them ..🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 He takes even the tiny morsels of our heart reaching out to Him. And- I can relate to much of that self- hatred /guilt etc . struggle, even hitting my head against the wall repeatedly for a season in year 2000. Yet , He got me through !! God has been faithful and will always be faithful. Honesty with Him is key.
