To those who finished "Palace Courtyard" in the final game- . . . . . . I did not see *that* betrayal coming at all. Seems kinda obvious in hindsight, but the way it was handled was so abrupt and soul-shaterring.

I feel like what upped it was- . . . . . . . The fact that the traitor helped you out in one of the previous stages helped out with delivering the twist as well; especially since, even with their actions later in the story in mind, they were still helping you out. You two were just against a common enemy and you didn't even know it at that point in the story.
