I love how Lilac went from saying "Hey, c'mon!" All impatient in the first game, to saying "Whenever you're ready" sounding very caring in the second. My heart melted when I heard that line from the second game for the first time. I was doing something real quick at the time and forgot to pause the game, so I felt like she really was talking to me in that moment...

Gotta say as someone checking these games out for the first time, they hugely improved the art style going from the first game to the second. You can really feel the love they have for their games. One little detail I stumbled on by accident while looking at the idle animations is that if you stand in front of a bench or something else about that height, the character will go into a sitting idle animation. I love that attention to detail.

.... I just realized. This is 99% a joke, made by devs, but in any joke there's 1% of truth. What if Freedom Planet highly connected with breaking fourth wall and contacting with us directly, like Oneshot, for example? 1. Idles. In both games. Everyone are waiting for us so badly and sometimes drop their impatience. 2. Remember if we run through characters selection, the screen starts to shake and all characters starts to react in fp1? 3. Remember that first boss fight in Shang Tu museum with Aaa as Carol? And then that end, I don't remember what did she said, but she said some joke towards US. She literally moved back to say this for us. She knows we're here. Verdict: What if FP characters knows they're in a game? They obviously know that we're here and playing with them. They just follow the rules of the game just not to raise any suspect. But sometimes..... :) Imagine FP3 COMPLETELY changes It's genre at end and, for example, Lilac will talk to us about philosophy with us? That would be so epic. Yes, Ik I'm crazy, but theories are made to be crazy.

I went one meter back after mention of Oneshot . 😅 Like trying to find oneshot fans is hard enough , but this AND Freedom Planet ? I like your theory but I think it is just jokes . It is more Undertale style jokes and not much of a meaning . Speaking of oneshot now I want to see Niko in the FP style .
