Why does every scrapped power-up is, literally, a much more better and interesting idea than the actual power-ups we have in the final game? Why did we get stuck with a soft RPG-deal, that boils down to how willing you are to get through a stage without amping your base stats/giving yourself the CHARACTER DESIGNED power-up to make it easier?

It doesn't help that each and every stage 'resets' the character. Freedom Planet is supposed to be an action-adventure, like Sonic, which the Adventure games gave the powerups to the characters to help them out in a special way or so. Taking that all away constantly is not good game design because the upgrades are essentially the rewards to make it feel like the player has accomplished something significant in terms of progression. Additionally, the scrapped Star Fragments would had been nice to enhance the upgrade to make it more effective but you know.

When I saw the gallery for myself I was baffled that Spade was cut out from assisting you in Sky Bridge and Dojo rematch despite all his animations being done. I would love to have a classic Spade fight in FP2 in the same style you fought 1st phase of Serpentine in Snowfields.

@AllenTheAnimator 004 Well, I think there is a mod for FP1 where you can play as Torque. It’s a shame though that he’s isn’t mentioned a single time in the entire game.☹️ I hope he returns in Freedom Planet 3.
