As you head to Dragon Valley's jungle, you stand in awe of the lush wildlife and flora. You take a dip in some of the small lakes around the area. You feel the cool air rush behind you as you speed forward.

Honestly, I prefer the "act 1" theme better, but hey, a Dragon Valley is a Dragon Valley, and I love all of them. It's a more tropical take on the theme and hey, it fits quite well the rest of the stage, so no complaints. Speaking of acts, I love how this game makes the acts feels more natural, I suppose it makes the levels a bit longer than it should, but I still like how you defeat a mid boss and there's no "end goal". You see the scenario changing, the music getting a remix, but the timer doesn't reset, you still need to keep going after all.

I think some of the music in the game blended together a bit or wasn't insanely memorable but this is by far the best one. I'd put this right up there with songs from the classic sonic games. It fits the atmosphere but is also catchy as hell.
@100organicfreshmemes58 жыл бұрын
IMO the soundtrack is much better than most of the Sonic games, if we compare Fortune Night to Casino Night Zone, well, there is no comparison.
@knucklesfan88 жыл бұрын
Well I can't remember what fortune night sounds like off the top of my head but I think Sonic 2 has the weakest soundtrack of the classic games anyways. But that's just me though. I do like the music style of freedom planet. I just can find myself humming the melodies very much.

Mr. Brock Lee What about Hydropolis Zone vs Jade Creek?(both levels which mix water sections and land sections) They're both good, but I find Jade Creek is less repetitive.
@knucklesfan88 жыл бұрын
Hydrocortisone for me no question. Yeah it's shorter in length but the zone isn't very long anyways so it never felt too repetitive. If anything, repeating bars in the song probably made it stick in my head more. Jades creek isn't bad, but it just didn't do it for me.
@100organicfreshmemes58 жыл бұрын
Mr. Brock Lee I guess it's just up to taste then, I like songs that are elaborate, and you like ones that stick in your head. I suppose it isn't a completely fair comparison anyway, since Jade Creek had to be less repetitive since the stage is much longer than Hydrocity Zone.
