I’ve been notified that tomorrow I will have a meeting about my son’s ssi disability funds. I’ve been told that income information needs to be updated & his case reviewed. They had the wrong number to call on the paperwork. I phoned to give the proper number. The conversation didn’t go exactly well. Please pray over this meeting tomorrow. I appreciate your prayers. Thank you kindly. May the Lord bless you for your fellowship and lifting up our family in your prayers. Lord please bless our circumstances, resources & comings & going’s. Thank you. I have faith but I do need prayer. The way the meeting went down is that I was told that an important piece of paperwork was not in their system that should be. I had a hearing & my son who collects SSI had a change in income, so I went to social security with the paperwork. I watched a man type it in their system and make a copy, I asked if he needed anything else & was told no & that if there was a payment change I would get a letter. I didn’t. But the woman on the phone told me they didn’t have it & it wasn’t in the system- 🤷🏻‍♀️ Now I will have to send it again & I will need to pay back whatever the calculation of “over payment “ for the last 2 years. Our expenses have risen & we’ve had several expensive additional maintenance costs. Covid & no car has meant shopping online & not at Goodwill. But I still haven’t applied for food stamps. I have been trying to figure out how to make it out of needing government assistance and trust God. We have Medical because I can’t afford private insurance and that’s all. Even though it would be easier. I haven’t applied. And that made this woman annoyed- that we would collect SSI- but not get food stamps. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m a Good mother. I’m trying to teach my children how to be decent people. There aren’t many things I will attest to- but this I will for sure. I’m not a person who typically shares my personal life issues but we need prayer and miracles here. We need a hedge of protection.
