At the 28:00 mark, Pastor Chris says that the enemy knows that God needs a body (Jesus's body), and he needs our bodies to do stuff. It is to my understanding based on my studies that God does NOT NEED US at all for anything. Will someone clear this up? Did he misspeak? Should there have been further clarification? Thank you.

I think he meant that once we die (and have heavenly bodies), we are no longer able to continue doing what God wants us to do on earth. So the enemy thinks that death is victory because we can't keep doing things on earth. Not that God "needs" us, but that we need bodies to be alive on earth.

God chooses to use us, in bodies, to complete works on earth. Since He made a physical earth, and made us in earthly bodies, He created a situation that needs us to operate in His name.
