Great video Tom! That was a great idea using the necklace to demonstrate your point. I once heard the definition of freedom as freedom from self concern.

Tom I know what this feeling is. There is no way to DESCRIBE IT. You can only feel it. It is on THE OTHER SIDE of the rotten apple AUTOMATICALLY. Yes it feels like true relief and true freedom and the end of imprisonment

Hi Tom, I just want to say I love your videos. Time and time again, you shine a light on life's complications that we think we know but accept somewhat blindly. I appreciate your insights, and I will continue to listen in to what you have to say, because you appear to be in touch with objective reality more than most. Setting aside the praise, I have a genuine question I am battling with internally that I am hoping you can answer. I am 26 years of age, currently in college (about to graduate), and have worked a variety of positions over my short career. When I lie in bed at night, I think about my participation in the 'rat race', and how I play the same game as every ambitious person in the states. As you described in this video, for many this pursuit of achievement and limitless consumerism inhibits the emotional stability of our internal beings. My understanding is we want purpose, and that in participating in the 'rat race', we can find a morsel of that purpose. However, this morsel of purpose will never offer complete freedom and fulfillment, much as you said in this video. This is where my issue arises. On one hand, I can choose to let go completely. I could accept that I will never be satisfied with any amount of consumption, and that I would be potentially happier giving away all of my assets and material belongings to pursue the life of a traveling vagrant. The idea of this seems justified, but I cannot fathom losing everything I have worked so hard for (part of which are my relationships I have developed over the years). On the other hand, I can continue down my current path, where I am destined for a desk job, where I will likely work very hard for some extended period of time, so I can afford financial freedom later in life. This idea to me, is more acceptable. I like the idea of getting myself out of the debt I am in, saving some money, potentially starting a business, and even having a family. These are things I must consider between making the two decisions. If I let go, I am afraid that I will lose everything, and I will be alone. If I continue in my pursuits of being the best version of myself that I can be, then I might lose some things, but I will not end up alone. Just as a secondary point; I would argue your point of freedom by saying, nobody is truly free, the only true freedom is death - where your mind is released from the prison of your body. However, this is a very negative way of viewing life, and I myself like to think more positively. My question is this: is there a balance? Can't I have some level of materialism, while maintaining freedom and happiness from within? I would love to hear your thoughts on this. All criticisms are welcome, please tear my argument apart. Warm Regards from the Florida man

Thanks for the heartwarming supportive words. The aim is to find the feeling of what you are looking for outside (to avoid feeling alone) within yourself (by truly connecting with your inner self), which will make you independent of external influences and in tune with what naturally and purposefully comes from within, which will make you independent of the external and in tuned with what naturally and purpusfully comes from within. I suggest you to check my more in depth videos @ www.alive-academy.com 🍀

I find it annoying how you have to wait 4 videos before you can go ahead and buy the course. I get that you are running a business, and you are trying to maximize revenue, but maybe it never occurred to you that you're not the only one who's been searching for answers for 13+ years? That there are plenty of people who have run their pockets dry paying for programs that make similar claims as yours? If you are so confident that it'll work and have found the answer - why make those who are interested in the program wait 4 days before they can have access to it? And why ask them to share a program with their friends on social media before having tried it? Doesn't seem genuine to me.

Thank you for your comment. 🙏 However it made people skip the free video's, which already provide so much insight for a lot of people. Also if these video's do not resonate with you, the paid course will neither and this results in unsatisfied people and negative comments on something which is meant to be the opposite. However if you are still eager to want to follow the paid course, you are very welcome to come and join the academy (if you haven't already 😉 ). Just let me know and I will send you a link if needed. Take care!
