Thanks for the Sunset drive..I can see how the "new build" Tel Aviv unfolds from a vehicle..seems quite nice ...however I see 6 to 10 lanes of black asphalt roads, and an actual (ugly) freeway bisecting the middle of the new downtown. This is where this areas "Central Park" should be ...fed by the Yarkon River which at the base of this freeway is merely an open sewer ....perhaps it could be capped and a park built above it! Istill haven't seen any awareness of the pedestrian in this new area of the city...such a great contrast with the more mature areas of Tel Aviv which are so totally designed for a person on foot! I enjoyed those scenes with all the greenery...planted, drip irrigated and cared for ...made me feel good and proud of Israel's accomplishments!
