I wish someone could fix the glaring subtitle error at 1:41:56. It was NOT Gaetano Impastato who was indicted as the instigator of the homicide of Peppino Impastato, but Gaetano Badalamenti. It's one thing to translate poorly a very Italian idiom like "moglie e buoi dei paesi tuoi" ("wives and cattle from your own villages"; aka, "marry your own kind"), but something so important as who got indicted for this horrific crime should NOT fall on the Impastato family by way of a sloppy subtitle.

as an italian and sicilian, i wish the subtitles were looked over and fixed where dialectical words like picciriddu would actually be translated as i dont think anyone outside of italy knows the meaning of the word but what a movie..

@@ausbrumbefore talking about “racial problems” I would like to remind you that 2.1 million Uyghurs are currently detained in concentration camps in communist China, in one of the largest ethnic persecutions on Earth… in 2023. I could go on for ages, listing all the minorities, political or even apolitical groups that were (or still are) annihilated by communist regimes. Those people would BEG to have just some of the privileges that minorities enjoy in the US… especially those that they enjoy now.

Incredibly ignorant comment. Communism wasn't JUST Soviet Union. Communism is ALSO Peppino Impastato, Che Guevara, British miners trying to unionise, Argentinian factory workers, Cuban doctors, Women demanding to vote, divorce, abortion and equality. It's Bolivian or Chilean Indios not wanting their lands to be exploited. Yes, communism was also Pol Pot, Kim Jung Un and Red Brigades. It's Ukrainian famine and Hungarian riots. They all have to do with Communism and the ideas of Marxism that has been around for over 150 years. Peppino Impastato and his comrades fought the mafia with bravery and stood up for their community . That's also very much communism whether you like it or not.
