This comment now also makes me think about Amber Riley who audition for American Idol in 2003 and was rejected (by Simon Cowell). Then in 2010, 7 years later, she was on the X Factor UK with the Glee cast as a guest performer and she belted it out in Simon's face. Amber proved it too, just like Katie
