One of my favorite memories this year was watching (and continuing) to watch my daughter play soccer! It's so much fun to see her doing something I enjoyed as a child so much! my most positive memory was giving birth to my daughter. both of us almost didn't make it because i started to bleed out and had to be rushed the the O.R. she was born via c section in less than 10 minutes. she was born a month early and spent 2.5 weeks in the NICU before coming home. now she's a happy 3 month old.

Probably one of the best memories from this year for me was getting to see my favorite band in concert in the summer and hang out with my friends at the same time. That band's music makes me incredibly happy, and I even got to meet the bassist and drummer after the show. :)

A positive memory of 2016 for me, was when a guy in my school (my best guy best friend) gave me a hug to help me stay strong through my hard times. I've been suffering with anxiety and depression, and he's always been here for me. When he gave me that hug when I was unable to stay calm he helped me, and gave me a hug.

Positive memory of 2016 - I started Year 12 (senior year in Australia) last term and although I was excited to finally start my final year, it soon became overwhelming as the work and assessments were super demanding (they all count towards your end-of-year university admissions mark). I was in the middle of a brutal two-week period of exams and despite trying not to show weakness, I finally broke down at the end of my second-last exam because the stress had gotten to me. I was apprehensive at the thought of people's reactions, but everyone around me was super supportive. I got so many hugs, friends had written thoughtful cards for me, my perspective changed and lots of people reminded me of the good things in the world - and this is one of the good things. Love these designs! My fav memory of 2016 is hard to chose but I think it will have to be the day I had a sleep over with my BFF!! We went to the park for 3 hours came home did makeup and nails like any teenage girl would do at a sleepover watched movies and ate a LOT of snacks! When we went to bed our devices got taken off us but to be honest I think it was so much more fun without them and we had midnight snacks and all! This year was a very difficult year for me personally. However in September, I woke up one morning and was able to stop taking antidepressants. And since that morning, I haven't had a moment I have needed to take them since. I've grown so much, and I've learned how amazingly emotionally resilient I am.
