This is a lovely two dimensional representation of intersecting vortices or wormholes, connecting disparate galaxies. Well done, Faerie Freehand!

David, you're the man! Why don't they teach us this kind of things in art class in school? It's so satisfying to fill up a blank space without years of training. It helps relieve stress and could reduce the crime rate.

Patricia create /craft Bust what do you mean by 'flower of life' ?
@patriciacreatecraftbust56657 жыл бұрын
David Nicholls hi. Thanks so much for getting back to me. Flower of life comes from the seed of life and is 'spiritual ' pattern. Drawn with a compass. Quite a few examples on KZbin but not clear enough for me! But I don't want to put you to any trouble, really. You've already taught me the easy way to draw a 'straight line circle. I've already passed the knowledge on to my daughter!

The name of this design is called “paradox”
@davidnicholls1006 жыл бұрын
is it? who named it? why?
@MzValerie6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for replying. In the world of ‘Zentangles’ in which there are countless tutorials that particular pattern is called a Paradox. Probably because it creates curved lines using only straight lines. I do not know who named it. However I am new to the Zentangle world and Celtic design for that matter. Keep up the great tutorial. I am learning so much.

It's hundreds of years old and existed well before 'Rick' claimed it as his paradox or someone decided to invent the word 'Zentangle' as a marketing ploy!!!!!!! Thanks for your comment Renee ;-)

Oh my God. You stole a Zentangle (TM) pattern. They have a nasty dispute with another woman who stole their trademarked designs I was reading about on their website last week. As well as stealing their square spiral, you have also stolen their invention of the line.
