Amazing video! Thank you guys, Please, please, please record cleaner audios, I see the lavalier mics on speakers but I don't know why the sound quality is not that good, probably the recording artist forgot to record audio from those.

I think I've taken for granted the fact that I have been able to freelance for the past 2 years right out of college int he UK (not uni) I learned basic motion design and tried to build a portfolio which was enough to get my first gigs at the end of my last college year and built up from that. My teacher helped me a ton as he was the contact that got me the gig, he worked in the filmmaking/videography industry so he had many contacts that needed motion design, knowing that I did it in my free time, he offered them to me. He was basically my mentor, helped with quoting work and such. It feels like I'm the only person in my city that does it haha. I've never met another motion designer and am looking to network more, but I feel like my situation is an isolated one and doesn't represent the real struggle most might go through trying to get enough work as a freelancer. Sometimes I feel like a fraud or something, because jobs came to me so easily I got lazy and stopped making my own work and my skills have developed very slowly if not at all in the last 2 years. I wanna get back to living and breathing motion design...

Love these clips, would love to hear more of the conversations had. Especially touching the topic of remote working, how owners and management are adapting. @joey, love that book!
