If I read and understood it right, it might have started as his friends sided with Little Kuriboh because of Patrick's (ShadyVox) abusive behaviour towards them.

Blake Swift uses the stage name “Matt Robinson” for the band Scratch21. Swift is also presumably the founder of the band. It can be assumed that all band members use stage names to hide their identities. Not only for their safety but also because faceless creators and virtual bands allow for a better connection with the audience. TL;DR: Don’t be yourself (sarcasm)
