Maybe you can find a carriage tray for your bike? I think it's common enough. Seen them on plenty of similar bikes. It clips on at the back and you can strap stuff on it. It'd be perfect for a bag of shopping and your water/beer crate runs.

Those almonds are hella nice. Very subtle soft flavour and a nice crunchy texture. It's quite unique because the flesh is like a whole bunch of thin layers arranged concentrically kinda like onion. Never tried them prepared though, like milked or baked. Problem is on my island, the coast has pretty much all been bought up and built so there are less and less of these original trees around, even coconuts are becoming a bit of a precious commodity coz everybody's cutting down food trees to have a bit of a garden around their homes...access is more and more restricted too. Less freelance options to go chill on the coast and just pick up whatever's there to snack on. Scientific name: Terminalia Catappa.
