Boy, I would love to spend a few hours going thru his inventory looking for a old new in the box Cobra 148 GTL. I wonder if he has a website. In Australia they do not manufacture 27 Mhz SSB radios anymore and have not done since the 1990's, we either have to import them or use 40 year old radios. We mostly use UHF CB at 477 MHz in FM mode. HF CB amplifiers are also very rare here, by the look of those amps there should be a whole lot of interested people who would like to import those amplifiers.

I did have plans to attend a few Ham radio fests this year but all got cancelled due to COVID 19 bug. Thanks 337. We had a great time in Mr. Freeman's store, it really is a fun trip! But it was a huge tease for Me too!, all that fantastic equipment......and so little money in My pocket! Take care Paul, Thanks for watching.

Get wasted? What does that have to do with anything?

Where do the numbers come from on ssb when you give call sign 151, do you just make a number or is it licensed
@MowerJunkie4 жыл бұрын
I get asked this question a lot. Most of the Handles and call numbers are Self assigned. Some radio Clubs will give You numbers to use. for example, I'm a member of "World Wide Sidebanders" So sometimes You Might hear Me call out as WWS-568. The 151 that I use comes from the 151 cubic inch engine that Chevrolet made in the 70's, it's My all time favorite engine. Thanks for watching, 73's from 151 SC.
