Interesting, the basic believe to receive someone to freemason should not just be by believing in God, that He exist and the one who created man, Bible says in James 2:19 that, "You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe-and tremble!" So even if the demon also believe in God, what prevent any body from believing in God. Moreover almost every religion believe in God and that He exist, right?. Now the most important thing here is Jesus Christ. If you are a believer/Christian, how can you pray, worship and sing with a Buddhist, a moslem, or a traditionalist. Bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:14-15, that, "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? So you see, he mentioned God, great, everyone believe in God, but not everyone that believe in Jesus Christ, who is the only true savior and the only one that can lead you to God. Also they don't teach heaven and hell, what is individual believe?. To teach someone God, you need Christ, because bible says in John 14:6, " Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" So how can you teach someone God and take Jesus out of it. The work of the devil is to take Jesus out of the equation, any group or society that does not teach Jesus is not worth joining. And salvation cannot be achieved by being a God man, salvation is by believing in Jesus and then learning his word (BIBLE) and doing accordingly and you will be blessed. bible says in Romans 10:9 that " that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Bible also say in Ephesians 2:8-9 that " For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.". You can choose whatever group you want, but remember that at the end of the day, Jesus is the one that is coming with the judgement. If you don't have Jesus, you have no life.
