Point slope form is preferred for higher level maths but yes this way works just as well

I'm moving to the US this month, and I really am sorta nervous lmao, just want to prepare, I'm already going to start going into Functions in Algebra 1, and then I'll try to advance a little bit, so that's why I want to know where they're at in your school if you don't mind. Second thing is, will I be even allowed to get admitted into a school 3-4 months after it already began? (In Victoria Texas they start in Mid September, so since I'm going to the US in late December/or after New Years, I'll be 3 months late, give or take a few days) TL:DR 1) If I'll be okay with being allowed into the school 3 months late (School starts in mid-late September, I join in early January) 2) What unit they're at in Algebra 1 (or 9th Grade) - Would really be helpful to know where they're at so I can prepare better. 3) If it'll affect my GPA. Would be really nice if you answer these 3 x) Thank you by the way. (I'll be a Permanent Resident in 2 weeks, but since I'm not going on a student Visa, there's really no way to contact any school since I don't even know which area we'll be in x))
