hi there can you help me with this qs? It is given that y=[ln(4x^2 -1)]/(x+2) Find the values of x for which y is not defined. I do know that for y to be undefined, the denominator has to be 0, so x=-2. The marking scheme says the answer is -2 and there is also a range given... [-0.5

a function is defined with the denominator is zero you got that, also when the argument of a logarithm is negative so set 4x^2-1

isnt e^1 = -(2,71) ? , sorry , english is not my native language so i maybe missed the explanation for that.
