I am going to try a pattern with a large needle on my old machine and mark it with chalk on my quilt. I love this!

Try and do a practice stitch out or sew it a few times on scrap with no thread to get comfortable with the motions.

I am live on FB son Fridays at 10 am Mountain time zone. After that I post the videos to KZbin on the following Fridays at 10 am Mountain. I also have a live Sunday feature on Sew Steady”s FB page on Sundays at 3 PM Mountain and then post those here on Sundays at 10 am. These feature template quilting and Rulerwork ideas.

Do you use poly for just quilting. Or do you use it for piecing

I have used poly for piecing but I prefer a poly that is cottonized since regular poly is slick. DecoBob or So fine are good options.
